The La Porte County Sheriff’s Office reports:
“A seasoned deputy has likely caught ‘the bird’ from a motorist on more than one occasion. Very rarely, though, does a deputy catch the double bird, and never a real-life version. That is, until Wednesday, when these two characters used Deputy Smith’s commission for an old-fashioned game of hide and seek at a call for service!” They’re peacocks without their showy tail feathers spread out.
