The city of Seattle has been given a lot of reasons to celebrate this entire week.
For starters: The Seattle Storm won their fourth WNBA championship in franchise history on Tuesday, sweeping the Las Vegas Aces.
The other hand, the Seattle Seahawks beat the Minnesota Vikings in comeback fashion, 27-26, to improve to 5-0 on the season-- a franchise record.
Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson isn’t shy about showing love to the city’s WNBA team, tweeting at them and congratulating them on their victory:

Wilson went even further when he was seen sporting a Sue Bird jersey before today’s game against the Vikings:

The Seahawks started the game slow in the first half of the game, but quickly started to pick up momentum in the second half.
In the closing seconds of Sunday Night Football, Wilson drove the team down the entire length of the field down to the goal line on 4th down and completed an impressive and clutch drive to DK Metcalf to secure the victory.

In her WNBA career, Sue Bird has won a WNBA championship in each decade since being drafted and is regarded as one of the greatest point guards to grace the WNBA.
Wilson, an obvious fan, had to shout out the legend after such a fantastic drive down the field and securing the first 5-0 record the franchise has seen.
The two hosted the ESPYs along with Megan Rapinoe earlier this year and are both true greats to represent the city of Seattle.
Now, Wilson's MVP season is looking more and more likely each Sunday.
