The Baltimore Ravens stuck it to the Tennessee Titans in their 20-13 AFC Wildcard win on Sunday. Still bitter about an earlier regular-season matchup in M&T Bank Stadium, the Ravens made sure to rub it in once cornerback Marcus Peters sealed the victory with a late interception.
Back in Week 11, the Titans stormed the Ravens’ logo before and after clinching a 30-24 overtime win. Baltimore returned the favor on Sunday when the defense made their way to midfield and stomped on the Titans’ logo while celebrating Peters’ big play.
With possession back, Lamar Jackson simply took a knee, and the Ravens starting leaving the field before the time clock even hit zero. There were no handshakes shared between the two teams, but on their way out, Ravens defensive lineman Jihad Ward presented the booing Titans fans with a little gift. After the game, Titans head coach Mike Vrabel didn’t have much to say about the Ravens’ celebration. “I coach the Titans, not the Ravens,” Vrabel said.
Lamar Jackson went 17-of-24 for 179 yards while rushing for a game-high 136 yards, including a 48-yard touchdown run to tie the score up at 10-10 before halftime. Meanwhile, the Ravens defense held the Titans to their fewest points all season and limited Derrick Henry to just 40 yards rushing on 18 carries.
