Tech & Coffee, 9-11 a.m., Chickadee Coffeehouse & Deli, Barnum. Barnum Community Education hosts the free event. Community members can drop in to get help with their cell phones, e-readers, tablets, laptops, social media platforms and more. Community education staff and Nathan Rimolde from RTS will be on hand to answer questions.

Ping Pong & Air Hockey, 4-5 p.m., Cloquet Public Library. Teenagers are invited to play ping pong and air hockey at the library free of charge.

Hunter’s Supper, 4-7 p.m., Cromwell Park Pavilion. The annual supper hosted by the Cromwell Area Community Club consists of turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, roll and pumpkin pie. Tickets are $12 for adults; $5 ages 5-10; and 4 and under are free.Tickets can be purchased the day of the event. All proceeds go towards Cromwell community improvement. People don’t have to be hunters to attend.

Red Bird Bazaar, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Cromwell-Wright School. Admission is $1. Children 12 and under are free. Lunch will be available from the Cromwell-Wright Student Council.

Teen Reads, 4 p.m., Cloquet Public Library. The library’s Teen Librarian will read aloud a chapter from an age-appropriate book. The event is free to attend.

Operation Community Connect Resource Fair, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Cloquet Armory, 801 Highway 33 S. United Way of Carlton County hosts the free event, which will provide information on veterans’ services, housing, child care, senior services, food access, education, mental health services, disability services and more. Free lunch and childcare are available. Everyone is welcome.

Storytime, 10-10:30 a.m., Cloquet Public Library. The free event is for children ages birth to 5 and their caregivers.

Digital Wellness for Teens, Tweens and Caregivers, 6-7:30 p.m., Cloquet Public Library. The Carlton County Youth Collaborative will host a discussion titled "What does sleep have to do with it?" by Professor Ryan Hjelle from the University of Minnesota Duluth. Caregivers can attend with their child or come alone. A light meal will be served and child care will be provided for younger siblings or family members.

Carlton County Trailblazers 55 and Older Group (formerly Retired Men’s Group), canceled its meeting for Nov. 10 because of Veterans Day preparations. The next lunch will be Dec. 8.

Ruby’s Pantry, 9:30-11:30 a.m., Cromwell Pavilion.

Veterans Day Dinner, 3-6 p.m., Cloquet VFW. The Cloquet VFW and American Legion Auxiliaries will provide a free dinner to all veterans. Because of COVID-19 concerns, all meals will be served to-go and can be picked up at the rear entrance of the VFW post at 210 Arch St., Cloquet. Non-veterans can purchase a meal for $10.

Veterans Day Dinner, 5 p.m., Carlton VFW Post 2962. A program will begin at 5 p.m., followed by a roast beef dinner at 5:30 p.m. Food will be served in to-go boxes, but may be eaten at the VFW. All veterans eat free (with valid ID). The costs for non-veteran guests age 13 and older is $10, and $8 for children 12 and under. Cash or local check written out to Carlton VFW Post 2962 will be accepted.

Veterans Day program, 1:30-2:30 p.m., Cromwell-Wright School. The program is open to all area veterans and members of the public.

Child Care Resource Forum of Carlton County, 9 a.m. to noon, Carlton County Transportation Building, 1630 County Road 61, Carlton, MN. RCCIP of Carlton County, Jump Start 4 Kindergarten, Child Care Aware of MN and the Northland Foundation sponsor the event for those who already operate a child care facility or who are interested in opening one. Attendees can get connected to local resources and others in the field. The event will offer business supports, training, education and networking. There will also be door prizes. Lakeside Community Center Mojakka Supper, 4:30-8 p.m., Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Wright. Raffle drawings will begin at 5:30 p.m.

Child Car Seat Safety Clinic, 1-3 p.m., Cloquet Area Fire District Station 1. Parents can stop by the station to have their child’s car seat inspected free of charge. A certified car seat safety technician will inspect the car seat. Parents will make any necessary adjustments to make sure the seat is properly installed. Child passenger safety clinics are held monthly at the CAFD on a first come, first served basis. Family Game Night, 5-6 p.m., Cloquet Public Library. This event is held on the third Thursday of each month in the Northwoods Credit Union Meeting Hall at the library. Free; snacks provided.
