SALEM — There are 453 runners scheduled to compete in the 19th annual Salem Early Bird Cross Country Invitational at Waterworth Memorial Park on Saturday.
Action will start with the middle school boys race at 9 a.m., followed by the middle school girls race at 9:40 a.m., the high school boys race at 10:20 a.m. and the high school girls race at 11 a.m.
High school teams scheduled to compete are host Salem, Alliance, Crestview, Lisbon, Lowellville, Niles, Perry, Poland, Ravenna, South Range, Southern Local, Springfield, United, West Branch and the Academy for Urban Scholars boys.
There are 226 high school runners and 227 middle school runners registered.
