Thirty-two students of Bethel Baptist High School in Kaduna, have regained their freedom from bandits.
Over 120 students were abducted from the school in July.
Some of the students had earlier been released while others regained their freedom on health grounds.
Rev. John Joseph Hayab, the state chairman of, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) confirmed the release of the 32 students.
He said 31 others remain in captivity.
“We should continue to pray for the remaining students, believing that one day, they too will be released to us.
“So, we are still begging the bandits to please see reasons with us and release the children so that they will be reunited with their parents.”
Rev. Hayab enjoined Christians to continue to pray for peace in Kaduna State and the country as a whole.
According to him, the security challenges the country is going through need God’s intervention.
