Man found fatally shot in Red Bird, Dallas police say - The Dallas Morning News

A 32-year-old man was fatally shot early Sunday in the Red Bird area of Dallas, police say.

Officers were called about 1 a.m. to the 800 block of Misty Glen Lane, in the Glen Oaks neighborhood, where they found the victim in the driver’s seat of a vehicle.

The victim, who was identified by police as Kiston Lamond Johnson Jr., had been shot multiple times, police said.

He was taken to a hospital, where he died.

Police didn’t provide any information about what led up to the shooting or any details about possible suspects.

Police asked anyone with information about the case to contact Detective Rawleigh Williams at 469-934-5737 or r.williams@dallascityhall.com and refer to case No. 217644-2020.

Tips may be shared anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers at 214-373-8477. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
